Well this is fun!

Taken with our MacBook using Photobooth and the thermal camera effect. I can see I will be playing with this program a lot.

And the walls...

...come tumbling down. They are demolishing the building between our lab (on left) and the bank (with columns) on West Main Street. I am itching to salvage some of those bricks for use around my house.

Buzzard Tree

One day I came home and found all these turkey vultures sitting on my roof. It was creepy; kind of like finding the Dark Mark over one's house. Thankfully, they decided to move into this tall tree and have been living there ever since.

New Year's Project

In an effort to take more photos in 2007, I am going to attempt to post a photo a week (at least) for the new year. I just got a Canon PowerShot SD600 Digital Elph, which so far I really like. It's tiny, so hopefully I will always have it handy to document what's going on at our farm and in our lives. I expect that there will lots of animal photos as well as pictures of the beautiful scenery we have here in central Virginia. Most of the photos will be directly out of the camera; if I do any editing I will be sure to note it.

We also have a Nikon D70, which is primarily my husband's camera. I'm sure he will make a few guest appearances here.
